Family Fun Day

On Saturday 6th of August we held a fun family day here at Beechgrove for our residents, staff and family members.

Residents loved spending the day with their family and friends in the garden. Outside our care home in Lanark, we had a bouncy castle, sports day activities, games, a hook-the-duck and tombola, and a raffle stall, which raised over £400 for our residents' activity funds.

We also had BBQ-themed food, including hot dogs and burgers, finished with a delicious selection of ice cream for everyone. We all enjoyed a good dance and sang along with a 'guess the song' quiz.

Residents loved watching the children who attended have fun on the bouncy castle and running around; this put a big smile on their faces. A wonderful day was had by all, and we look forward to our next event.
