Christmas Celebrations at Beechgrove Care Home

Resident & Staff Enjoying Snow White Pantomime

We had a wonderful time in December getting ready for Christmas by decorating our home and enjoying lots of festive activities. The activities schedule was jampacked with things for residents to partake in from trips into town, a visit to the Lanark pantomime, a visit from a miniature donkey, arts & crafts, baking, watching festive films, and much more.

There are many Christmas trees dotted around the home, which have been beautifully decorated by our team and admired by our residents who have enjoyed spotting the Christmas decorations in each room.

Our residents went to see the Cinderella pantomime at Motherwell Concert Hall and Snow White at Lanark Memorial Hall. Everyone had a great time and there was so much laughter. Our residents were delighted to have their photos taken with the panto team.

Our residents and staff all loved a visit from Danny the miniature Donkey. He was a high hit with all the residents and staff. Danny was well-behaved and gentle with residents as their faces lit up when they greeted him. We all look forward to seeing him again.

We have more exciting things planned towards the end of December, and if you would like to keep up to date with everything that goes on at Beechgrove, visit our Facebook page for regular updates.
