Beechgrove is located within the quiet Lanark countryside which aids in providing a tranquil setting for residents, and less than a 10-minute drive from Lanark town centre. Our home is surrounded by lots of green space and a private garden for residents to enjoy all year round.
Our Activities Team arranges regular visits into Lanark for residents to experience a fun-filled day out away from the home. Barons Haugh Nature Reserve in North Lanarkshire provides pleasant scenic views and is perfect for spotting wildlife. New Lanark World Heritage Site is famous for its historic buildings surrounded by stunning landscapes. Visitors can learn about the history of the village and enjoy woodland walks through the Falls of Clyde Wildlife Reserve. On site is the Mill Café that serves a range of delicious food to finish off their visit.
South Lanarkshire is home to Chatelherault Country Park, offering an interactive heritage experience within 18th century landscaped gardens that has a herbaceous border and bowling green. Visit Amazonia for a great day out exploring the indoor tropical rainforest with over 70 different species to find, and an area for the South Americas nocturnal animals.
